2025 Program Updates
Our focus this year is again on creating value for our BDG membership and continually exploring ways to drive car counts and profitability in our shops. We have broken that down to these areas:
• Communications
• Training
• Development of Fleet business
Communications: We will continue to work on keeping you informed through regular communications such as this as well as the re-boot of our Atlanta BDG facebook page, https://facebook.com/napaautocareatlanta, your NAPA CSR’s and various BDG membermeetings and events throughout the year.
Training: We have been working closely with our training partners at NAPA AutoTech and again will provide the Build-a-Tech training programs at no cost to BDG members in good standing. The plan this year is for us to hold 5 separate classes with each class being oPered at two locations (Marietta and Norcross) to make it convenient for you to send your techs. NEW this year we are integrating the ASE prep into each session to further support your shop. These classes are geared towards your B&C level general service techs and can also be a refresher for new hires. Schedule and details will be forthcoming.
Classes will cover Brakes, Steering & Suspension, HVAC, Electrical and we’re adding new class on Engines later in the year!
Fleet Business: Fleet customers can help keep our bays full . In many cases todays mid size and larger fleets are requiring shops to be on their list of approved providers. We have several of our shops that have found success in gaining Fleet business. One of our BDG Board members, Ryan Moon of Moons Truck and Auto Service is one of those. Moons Service Center has several fleets and
they have put together some great information to get you started! We have attached those guidelines to this newsletter.
Stay tuned for more developments and updates from your BDG. As always, feel free to reach out to any of your Board members or send a note to our email at napaabdg@gmail.com
Thank you for being a member of the Atlanta AutoCare BDG.
